This painting was created in the summer of 2021. It was my first time visiting the shore of the Gulf of Finland. I was captivated by the endless diagonal stretches of sand, the soft coastline, the boundless horizon, and, of course, the gulf itself with its long, gentle slope extending hundreds of meters into the distance. This trip reminded me of summer holidays by the Black Sea, when I went to a summer camp at the age of 12.
