In creating this painting, Natalya Largina distilled the landscape down to its sacred formula: sky, water, earth, and the serenity that lies between them. This is an expression in the spirit of classical Japanese aesthetics, where beauty is born from limitation.

The painting symbolizes a person's journey into the infinite distance — what we call the Path of Life. Along the way, one must always leave behind someone or something important. Here, that significant presence is the cat Vaska, embodying both freedom of spirit and the warmth of home.
